My short play THE MAGIC DICTIONARY will be playing at The Southwark Playhouse in London as part of The Equillibrium’s evening, “Bite of The Big Apple”. The play is about an awkward new years eve party and the word game that unlocks the key to everyone’s future, or at least — the evening.
ABOUT THE EVENING:
“We are very excited to announce our first production – a unique and innovative trans-Atlantic event – coming this spring.
In partnership with New York based company New Light Theater Project and Southwark Playhouse, we are creating immersive events on both sides of the Atlantic: an evening of Americana in London, and an evening of Britannica in New York. Let’s start a conversation about our place in the world.
We are delighted to present 5 premieres in London and 5 premieres in New York, showcasing the best new writing from one cultural capital to audiences in the other. This isn’t sit down and stare theatre – we want to show our audience a good time, make them feel involved and have a really great night out.
A night of Music, Food, Drink, New Writing, Short Films, Americana… all in glorious technicolour. We encourage you to dress appropriately, be inspired by all things American. Uncle Sam has an award for the best dressed.
Let’s get together.”
