Lincoln Center Theater on Tuesday started a program to provide $30 seats to its performances for people ages 21 to 35, theater officials announced. The program, called LincTix, allows members to buy tickets for productions at the Vivian Beaumont and Mitzi E. Newhouse Theaters at Lincoln Center, as well as to Lincoln Center Theater productions on Broadway. A limited number of LincTix will be available for every performance and available in advance. Once registered online, LincTix members (memberships are available at LincTix9.org) can buy tickets for coming productions and to “War Horse,” now at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (regular tickets cost $75 to $125), and to “A Minister’s Wife,” now at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (regular tickets are $85). LincTix members will also have a chance to purchase seats together with other LincTix members and will get invitations to free LincTix parties and other special events. Mem Membership includes advance notice of the $20 tickets for all LCT3 productions, which showcase the work of new playwrights, directors and designers.
